Amazons biggest Black Friday 2011 deals

first_imgWe’ve already covered several 2011 Black Friday offerings from retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and GameStop — but what about online retailers? The biggest of them all, Amazon, has now leaked some of their upcoming deals. Some of these deals are already active, so be sure to check the site now if any of them float your boat.Every AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon phone on sale for 1¢This may be the most massive smartphone deal we have ever seen. Any phone carried by Amazon Wireless that isn’t on T-Mobile can be had for a penny. This includes the Droid Razr, HTC Rezound, Galaxy S II, Droid Bionic, EVO 3D, and many more. What’s more, if you activate the phone’s hotspot feature during checkout, you will get a $100 Amazon gift card thrown in. It isn’t clear whether you can cancel the hotspot feature after a couple of months without penalty but, unless there’s some fine print I’m missing, I don’t see why not.Of course a couple of 2,000 pound gorillas that aren‘t in the room are the Galaxy Nexus and the iPhone 4S. A smartphone’s up-front cost is relatively low when compared to two years of wireless bills, so you’ll want to make sure you really want one of these phones if you take Amazon up on this deal. This sale has already begun, and runs through November 28.Lord of the Rings trilogy (extended edition) on Blu-Ray – $50You can prepare yourself for The Hobbit by getting Peter Jackson’s LOTR trilogy for just $50.If you have somehow managed to miss the Extended Editions of the three classic films, the extra content is extensive (over two hours extra footage plus tons of bonus features), high-quality, and easily worth snagging over the theatrical versions.LA Noire for Xbox 360 or PS3 – $20LA Noire can typically be had for a low price anyways, as many early adopters were quick to offload the Team Bondi/Rockstar title due to its slow pacing and relative lack of freedom (compared to typical Rockstar sandbox games). But if those potential drawbacks don’t bother you, you’ll be able to snag a good deal on one of the most ambitious, unique, and psychologically engrossing video games to come along in some time.160GB PS3 console with LittleBigPlanet 2 and Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One – $200If you’re looking to get a PS3 soon, this could be a great way to save a few bucks — and get LittleBigPlanet 2 and the latest Ratchet & Clank title to boot.Samsung 46 inch 1080p HDTV – $800Amazon isn’t listing the exact model, but their Black Friday presser is promising some 46 inch 1080p Samsung HDTV for $800. This model supposedly normally retails for $1300, so it could be the Samsung UN46D6000, which is currently ringing up at $900.MoreHere’s a handy reference to our growing list of 2011 Black Friday roundups:Best Buy 2011 Black Friday dealsWalmart 2011 Black Friday dealsTarget 2011 Black Friday dealsGameStop 2011 Black Friday dealsBe sure to check back for more as we build up to the big day.last_img read more
